Tatto & Rock Festival in Portugal

Do you know where I go on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December? Portugal.

It’s true, I was invited by a tattoo artist friend to go with him to Lisbon for a tattoo convention that will take place at Meo Arena.

Filled with Portuguese and international tattoo artists, such as Diogo Nunes, Remis, Bene Bader and Miss Mini, this year’s festival features novelties, such as the best tattoo contest, in which “anyone with a good tattoo and you like, you can sign up. ” During these three days, between 12:00 and 24:00, fans of this art have the opportunity to be tattooed by the best of the best and to attend many other genres of shows, such as “music concerts, burlesque shows and beauty contests. ” I’ll tattoo and be tattooed. Beautiful.

From what I read, the goal of this project is to end prejudice and explain a little to people that tattooing is art, tattooing is culture, as is music. In the middle of rock and music people usually have had many tattoos and are known for it. Thus, the junction of the two allows to demystify a bit the stereotypes associated with people with tattoos, who do not necessarily listen to rock’n’roll.

It does not stop here. After some research on the internet, my friend and I decided to go to the Azores for a few days. We went to see some photos and that looks spectacular and then we got some affordable trips and we go there for a few days. We already have some things planned but if you want to leave some suggestions are at ease. We have already decided that we will visit the lagoon of the 7 cities and the furnas. We have already decided that we are going to take a walk in the sea to see some fish. Here are some photos for the most curious https://www.azoresfishing.pt/galeria

I cannot ask for better. I think it’s events and tours like this that will further strengthen my taste for tattooing. Of course as in all professions we have good and bad things, but as you can see the good ones can overcome the bad ones. I can barely make it through November 30, which is when I go.

I leave you still the link of the boat in which I am going to walk https://www.azoresfishing.pt/barco . You can be sure that when I arrive I will tell you everything: they will know everything that happened at the convention, what I learned, who I met, will know everything. They will also know what I found of Lisbon and how my trip to the Azores, island of São Miguel. I’ll take lots of pictures to accompany me if they want to also “follow” on my instagram.

  4. I will be interested to read your report on EVERYTHING that happened during you trip to the tattoo convention in Lisbon and your onward trip to the Azores. I have been to Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra. The latter is my favourite city in Portugal. It is beautiful and fascinating. You should go there if you ever get the chance.

You may be interested to know that my son, Dave, is a tattoo artist who works very near to you, in Romsey. He is very experienced and his work is wonderful. He is well-known in the south of England. He previously worked in Shirley and in Basingstoke. Take a look for Scream’n Ink on Instagram for some example of his work.
